Molly's Approach and Background
The definition of mollify is to soothe and calm, so it was a no-brainer when choosing a name to represent my business. I am a licensed massage therapist of 10 years, Reiki Master, and certified yoga instructor.

I have always been drawn toward holistic medicine. That interest, paired with my grounding and calming demeanor, led me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

Upon graduation, I moved to Colorado Springs and worked for a chiropractor, where I became an Interactive Metronome Specialist - a method of alternative therapy for those with special needs. This is where I first learned about hands-on patient care and bodywork. Suddenly it clicked! I found a method to heal and help others in a direct and meaningful way; all I needed was my own two hands! This inspired me to hone in my skills and pursue a career in massage therapy.

I made the move back home to Chicago to attend the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy. While in school, I started my spa career at the world-renowned Soho House Hotel - Cowshed Spa as a receptionist. Once licensed, Cowshed Spa brought me on as a full-time massage therapist. While there, I was able to combine my clinical skills with a luxurious touch.
After three years of bodywork at Cowshed, I had the experience and skill set I needed to take my practice solo. I knew I wanted to go back to Colorado, but this time I wanted to be closer to the slopes. I made the move to Dillon and began working at The Spa at Breckenridge. Eventually I began building my mobile massage business, and growing my reputation in this small, mountain community. This led to a desire to put down some roots here. I moved into the space I’m in now in beautiful downtown Dillon and I’m grateful to have thrived here for several years now.
I love sharing my talents with fellow locals that keep Summit County running, as well as visitors looking for pampering or pain relief during their stay here.
